Here are few that are most common:
Cats (we've got a herd of them, and they are often photogenic)
My daughter (although I'll limit what I post here to portraits with some merit
Nature (flowers, buds, bugs, etc)
Travel (Thailand and India)
Street Photography (working on this more, still don't have the knack of taking "candids" in my own country)
Conceptual (on and off)
I find that there is a certain beauty that can be brought forth by translating some of my digital photos to B&W using one of a handful of methods with photoshop (channel mixer, B/W gradient map, etc), and some photos which are artfully composed and otherwise compelling but which were taken in too-low light can be given new light this way.
I also like how some of my photos which I felt are otherwise just a little too blurry or dark turn out when processed through one of my watercolor-pencil photoshop actions. It isn't great for everything, but since I'm not talented with pencil or brush myself and they give me an additional artistic outlet. It's not purely "push-button art" any more than taking a photo is, and I have to tweak things quite a bit to acheive the results I get.
